Privacy Notice

This notice describes how the European Web Solutions website handles information, based on how the site works today.

It covers ordinary page visits, contact enquiries, hosting, and outbound links. It does not describe products or services that are not present on this website.

1. Who we are

This website is published by European Web Solutions (EWS) at https://www.europeanwebsolutions.com. European Web Solutions is a software engineering company specializing in enterprise AI, Liferay platforms and custom digital products. The public site records a presence in Athens, Greece and Sofia, Bulgaria, and a founding year of 2001.

The exact legal entity that acts as data controller is not published on this page. Privacy questions can be sent to info@europeanwebsolutions.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, the following information may be involved:

  • Technical request data needed to deliver a page, such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, and browser information. This is received by the hosting platform when you load a page.
  • Contact-form fields: name, email address, optional company name, and message. Those fields are required or optional as shown on the form.
  • If you email us directly, the content of that email and any address or signature information you include.

This website does not currently provide accounts, newsletters, payments, or an uploaded-file feature.

3. How information is collected

Page visits send a normal HTTPS request to the website. Submitting the contact form sends the form fields to our website's contact endpoint, which then creates an email to our team. Clicking a mailto link opens your own email application. Clicking LinkedIn, GitHub, or other outbound links takes you to those sites; those visits are not loaded automatically by this website.

4. Why we use information

Technical request data is used to serve pages and keep the site running. Contact information is used to read an enquiry and reply. We do not use the contact form as a marketing-list signup, and this website does not run advertising or behavioural analytics products.

5. Contact enquiries

The homepage contact form collects name, email, optional company, and message. The website validates that name, email, and message are present and that the email looks like an address. On a successful send, the form is cleared. On failure, the page asks you to try again or email info@europeanwebsolutions.com.

The website does not store contact-form submissions in a database of its own. The enquiry is delivered by email through an email delivery provider (Resend) so the team can read and respond. Copies then exist in the email systems used to receive and reply.

6. Hosting and technical logs

The website is hosted on Vercel. Loading a page involves Vercel receiving the technical data needed to route and serve the request. Application error logs may also be written if the contact endpoint fails. Exact log contents and how long the hosting platform keeps them are set by that platform, not by a published EWS retention schedule.

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently implement Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, session replay, or similar behavioural measurement. A production inspection of the homepage found no cookies, localStorage keys, or sessionStorage keys written by the site, and no third-party analytics requests.

Hosting infrastructure may still apply strictly technical behaviour needed to deliver the page. This website does not currently display a cookie banner, because optional analytics and marketing cookies are not implemented.

8. Third-party services

The following services are involved in running this website:

  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of the website.
  • Resend — email delivery for contact-form submissions.

Outbound links to LinkedIn and GitHub are ordinary links. Those companies process information under their own policies if you choose to follow the link. This website does not embed YouTube, maps, social widgets, or CAPTCHA.

9. Data retention

This notice does not state a fixed number of days or months for retaining contact enquiries or hosting logs, because EWS has not published those periods. Enquiry copies remain in the email systems used to handle them. Technical logs remain subject to the hosting platform.

10. International processing

Hosting and email providers may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area. Specific transfer safeguards for those providers are not published on this website.

11. Your data protection rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Those rights are not unlimited, and they do not apply in the same way in every situation. To ask about information EWS holds from this website, email info@europeanwebsolutions.com.

12. Complaints / supervisory authority

You may also complain to a data protection authority in the EEA country where you live, work, or where you believe a problem occurred.

Because European Web Solutions has a public presence in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) is a relevant authority. Official site: https://www.dpa.gr. Complaint instructions: https://www.dpa.gr/en/individuals/complaint-to-the-hellenic-dpa. That page explains the HDPA portal and, for people who cannot use Taxisnet, an English email route at complaints@dpa.gr.

13. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Contact-form handling is limited to the fields on the form and an email delivery step. That is a description of the current design, not a guarantee that processing is free of risk.

14. Changes to this notice

This notice may change when the website's technical behaviour changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
